For our social network fans, you can now follow us on Facebook! Facebook can be used as a forum to comment, tell others about things you ‘like’ or share your thoughts about our website postings and the work that our community does. To join us you will need to have an active Facebook account and send a request to ‘Friend’ Chestnut Glen. Because being a Chestnut Glen resident is a special ‘club’ already, we have limited the ‘Chestnut Glen Hoa’ Facebook page strictly to ‘Friends’, not the general Facebook population. So, please mention your address in your request so we know who you are and accept your request. For those of you not already on Facebook and perhaps a bit reluctant to give it a try, this is a great opportunity to get your feet wet and try Facebook.
The Annual Chestnut Glen HOA meeting, Tuesday 06/28. We encourage the whole neighborhood to attend. Don’t forget to bring a chair and/or blanket to sit on, and dress for the weather. Some agenda items can be found here but there’s a lot more to talk about. Also, a reminder that the Homeowners Dues are due by 07/01/2011! Late dues will be assessed a late fee.
Litter and dog poop in common areas is showing up again. Please discuss with your children the importance of proper disposal of litter and if you are a dog owner, please be mindful and clean up after your quadruped. Let’s keep our neighborhood E.Coli free!
Posts taped to mail boxes. Please refrain from taping anything to our community mail boxes. We are in the process of looking at better options for posting that will look better and keep from damaging the boxes. In the mean time, use our website for your lost and found/for sale ads (‘Classifieds’ page) by sending an e-mail to webmaster@chestnutglen.com
