Neighborhood Vandalism
Two police reports were filed with Bothell Police within the last 7 days:
08/27/2012, regarding the removal of the Block Watch Sign at the intersection of 23rd and 208th. The sign had been pulled out and replaced in the hole a few weeks back, but over the weekend was fully removed and left on the ground. Because this is now the third event of vandalism in the neighborhood in as many weeks, the police report was filed with the hope of getting increased neighborhood patrols.
8/21/2012, Case number 12-18206 with an Officer Henkel regarding spray paint vandalism/graffiti on the mail box bank next to the playground equipment on 23rd. (We have cleaned off the offensive language). Upon notification to the police, the Officer indicated that she was aware of the location because last week she was called out to address a basketball hoop that had been thrown into the retention pond.
If you have information on either of these incidents, please report to Bothell Police.

Meeting Flyer Correction
Late last week, all residents should have received a flyer announcing the upcoming emergency HOA meeting to be held on September 6th. Unfortunately, there is an error on that flyer that needs to be corrected: the fifth and final item listed is “Board elections”. There will not be Board elections held at this meeting, that item was included by error. There will be an election for Treasurer as planned, and listed in the first bulleted item. Our apologies for the error.

Emergency HOA Meeting- Thursday Sept. 6th 7:00PM
An emergency HOA meeting will be held on Thursday, September 6th at 7:00PM to discuss important and time-sensitive issues relating to the HOA. Location to be lawn area next to drainage pond (same as last meeting). Please bring chairs and dress for the weather.
It is important as many homeowners as possible attend, please be there!
Agenda:
1.) Election for Treasurer
2.) CC&R violations and other issues
3.) Hiring property management company or dissolving/terminating the HOA
4.) Dues increase

HOA Treasurer, Gregg Kramer Resigns
Jason Rogers, John Romanaschi and fellow homeowners,
I want to thank you all for the past year of being the Treasurer for Chestnut Glen HOA. It was a learning experience and I will always be grateful to all for electing me and I enjoyed the position greatly. A few weeks ago I was reelected to the Treasurer position but due to irreconcilable differences I am unable to fulfill that position. I withdraw my acceptance of the position effective the start of the 2012-2013 year.
I will finish my position as Treasurer in the 2011-2012 term as expected.
