Chestnut Glen Neighborhood Safety Reminders
Fall is approaching and the days are growing darker. The Chestnut Glen Block Watch would like to remind you of SEVEN ways to make your home and our neighborhood safer:
- Please check and replace your outdoor light bulbs.
- Turn on your porch lights in the evening- a well lit house is a crime deterrent.
- Lock your vehicles. Most auto theft is a crime of opportunity.
- Lock your home. Most home theft is a crime of opportunity.
- Report ALL suspicious activity by calling the Bothell Police Department at 911. Regardless of the activity, call 911 and they will direct your call to the appropriate area based on urgency.
- Remove home hazards.

Block Watch Update:
Our tire swing playground equipment has sustained some mild damage. We are uncertain if it is from normal wear and tear or due to misuse. We will make the repair shortly. Please remind your children the equipment is meant for residents 12 years and younger. The equipment can not safely accommodate older children.
