Question from a homeowner regarding a greenbelt tree that fell: There is another sizable/tall tree that stands right next to the spot where the fallen tree had been, which makes me feel extremely uncomfortable and vulnerable. As this tree is located in the greenbelt, can the Chestnut Glen HOA advise what I need to do to assure the personal safety of my family and to prevent potential further damage to my property?” To see the entire message and Chestnut Glen HOA board’s response please click here!

Complaint about a neighborhood child waiting for  the school bus: A Chestnut Glen neighbor had their driveway repaired. Tape was put down to cover the repaired areas and yellow caution tape across the driveway entrance to keep people out. According to the homeowner, some boys waiting for the school bus were caught jumping up and down on the taped areas. According to the homeowner, the repair work was damaged and she plans to seek reimbursement for the damage from the boys’ parents. Back in April we had reports that some neighborhood kids were placing ‘garbage’ in the mailboxes. Let’s avoid these situations in the future, please discuss proper behavior and respect of private property with your kids.
