Two cougars have been spotted in the greenbelt behind a home on 25th Drive. All homeowners should be cautious and keep a safe distance if you spot these or any other wild animals in your yards or the greenbelt areas. Those with cats and small dogs should be especially careful, as cougars consider small domestic pets as a food source. It has been reported that a homeowner’s cat was most likely killed by wildlife within the last year. The homeowner that spotted these two cougars has reported that they did not appear to be afraid of her. If this is the case, then they may come closer to homes or humans than they naturally should.
